Liporase Hyaluronidase 1,500 IU – Hyaluronic Acid Filler Dissolver
Liporase Hyaluronidase is a professional-use hyaluronidase product manufactured in South Korea. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid (HA) and may be used by qualified healthcare professionals when an HA-based dermal filler needs to be reduced or dissolved.
It may be considered for correction of overfilling, uneven placement, lumps, asymmetry, or other complications associated with HA fillers. Hyaluronidase also has established medical uses as a spreading agent to enhance the dispersion and absorption of certain injected substances.
Uses of Hyaluronidase
HA Filler Dissolving
Hyaluronidase enzymatically breaks down hyaluronic acid and may be used by trained medical professionals to reduce or dissolve unwanted HA-based dermal filler.
Management of HA Filler Complications
It may be used as part of clinician-directed management when HA filler has been incorrectly placed or when complications occur. Suspected vascular occlusion is a medical emergency requiring immediate assessment and treatment by an appropriately trained healthcare professional.
Enhanced Dispersion
Hyaluronidase can increase tissue permeability and facilitate the dispersion of certain injected medications or local anesthetics when clinically appropriate.
Important Safety Information
Liporase Hyaluronidase should only be prepared and administered by appropriately licensed and trained healthcare professionals. Reconstitution, dosage, injection technique, and treatment protocol should be determined according to the product labeling and the individual clinical situation.
Allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to hyaluronidase can occur. A patient’s medical and allergy history should therefore be evaluated before administration. Emergency treatment should be immediately available when the product is used.
Do not self-inject or use without professional medical supervision.
